Community-Based Research and Data Collection
HTH leads inclusive, ethical, and participatory research grounded in community realities. We train local enumerators and youth researchers to conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups in displaced and vulnerable communities. Using tools like KoboToolbox, ODK, and ArcGIS, we collect both qualitative and quantitative data. Our research reflects local priorities and feeds directly into programming and policy reform. Evidence is only powerful when it includes everyone.
Surveys, Assessments, and Field Studies
We conduct a range of assessments including baseline, midline, endline, needs assessments, rapid appraisals, and feasibility studies. Our field teams work across regions to collect data on community well-being, institutional capacity, service delivery gaps, and program effectiveness. These studies directly inform project design, donor reporting, and national development strategies. Data quality, participation, and disaggregation are central to our approach.
Data Collection, Surveys, and Assessments
We implement household surveys, impact evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and thematic studies to support planning, monitoring, and resource allocation. Technology-Driven Research Tools Our field teams use mobile data collection apps, GIS mapping, and real-time dashboards to enhance data accuracy, speed, and disaggregation.
Evidence generation and Knowledge Products
HTH transforms raw data into user-friendly knowledge products that support advocacy, program design, and policy engagement. Outputs include infographics, policy briefs, situation reports, thematic snapshots, and localized fact sheets tailored to various audiences. Our communication approach makes data actionable and accessible across technical and community stakeholders.
Research Capacity Strengthening
We build the capacity of students, researchers, government officers, and civil society actors through structured training, mentorship, and supervised fieldwork. Modules cover research ethics, data tools (SPSS, NVivo, Excel), and policy writing. We promote local research leadership and sustainability through partnerships with universities and research institutions.
