Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
Digital and Real-Time Monitoring
We use digital tools such as KoboToolbox, Power BI, and GIS for real-time monitoring of program implementation and outcomes. Our systems ensure timely decision-making and effective tracking of progress and challenges. Visual dashboards and automated reporting enhance transparency and adaptive management.
Participatory and Inclusive Evaluation
Our evaluations are participatory, incorporating the voices of youth, women, IDPs, and frontline workers. We apply mixed methods including focus groups, community scorecards, and outcome harvesting. Findings are translated into practical recommendations for policy and program adjustments.
Institutional MEL System Development
HTH supports ministries, NGOs, and donor programs to develop internal MEL frameworks and tools. We provide templates, training, mentoring, and databases aligned with national and global reporting standards. Strong MEL systems promote accountability and continuous improvement.
Building and Operationalizing Management Information Systems (MIS)
HTH supports institutions in designing and operationalizing robust MIS platforms to improve data storage, visualization, and decision-making. Our support includes system architecture design, dashboard development, database management, and integration of GIS and Power BI tools for real-time analytics. We align MIS structures with sectoral priorities such as health, education, livelihoods, and displacement tracking. We offer institutional mentorship and technical assistance to ensure that systems are user-friendly, secure, and scalable. Training is provided to government staff and implementing partners on system maintenance, data entry protocols, indicator tracking, and report generation. HTH’s approach ensures sustainability by embedding MIS ownership within institutions and aligning systems with national development and resilience frameworks.
Learning and Adaptive Management
We facilitate pause-and-reflect sessions, learning reviews, and knowledge-sharing workshops to help partners adapt. Learning is integrated across the program cycle, informing scale-up and innovation. Documentation of lessons supports broader dissemination and institutional memory
